About me

Hi, I’m Joanna, a Peruvian photographer living in Amsterdam since 2019.

I began photographing professionally in 2009. Since then, I have photographed weddings in different countries, followed travellers on multi-day adventures and created stories for couples, families and businesses. Today, I photograph people visiting Amsterdam and the Netherlands, which means documenting a quiet morning through the city, or designing a complete surprise proposal, coordinating the location, route and experience so my clients can focus entirely on each other.

Every project is different, and I believe the best photographs are created when we work as a team. I bring my experience, local knowledge and ability to notice what is happening around us. You bring your story, your personalities and the things that matter to you. My style comes from everywhere I have lived and worked. It carries the warmth of my Peruvian roots, the light I discovered in Mexico, the energy I experienced in Brazil, and the visual simplicity I have learned to appreciate in the Netherlands.

I create photographs that feel beautiful, personal and easy to understand without explanation. Images that capture not only how a moment looked, but also how it felt.
